OUR SOLUTION FOR YOU

In an industry where safety is optimal we are committed in providing a cost effective solution to all 'potential expensive scenarios.

Fire Boar is determined to train our team in multiple disciplines that will provide the opportunity for customers to maintain and service their fire systems cost effectively.

Fire Boar will distribute a reporting and time management system that is efficient, consistent and most importantly easy to understand, process and file.

TESTING & REPORTING

Fire Boar will provide a Yearly Scheduled Planner with all scheduled test dates designed specifically for the customer at the beginning of the contract to ensure all testing and maintenance is managed efficiently.

Reports will provide the following information:

  1. The scheduled ID reference number
  2. The type of fire system serviced
  3. The technician who tested the system
  4. The status of any defect (Critical or non-critical)
  5. A quoted cost of rectifying the defect

Rectification of works will be monitored by our administrative team weekly.

This is our guarantee that all works once reported and approved are completed within 14 days and all test dates are maintained as per the customers Yearly Scheduled Planner.

RECTIFICATION OF WORKS

An Annual Fire System Condition Report will be provided at the end of each contract year and includes all testing and maintenance completed in the 12 month period.

All outstanding defects must be listed until rectified.

When the rectification of work has been carried out by the customer or the customers contractors we will require the following information:

  1. Name and license number of the contractor who completed the work
  2. Date the work was completed
  3. Confirmation the work has been completed in accordance with the Australian Standards (written, e-mail or by fax is sufficient)

ASSISTANCE

All calls outside normal office hours will be taken by our technicians who are 'on call' to provide any emergency or out of hours assistance, 24 hours / 7 days a week.

Fire Boar is continually updating its website to offer customers an opportunity to view company progress, testing and maintenance requirements, feedback questions & answers, optional equipment & stock review and view our current licensing and additions.

The Fire Boar website is also an opportunity to encourage customers, friends and families to ask questions and become educated and more aware of fire protection and the importance of fire safety.

Our team is available to take calls at anytime for contract advice and assistance, to up-date customer information, re-schedule maintenance or to provide us with your valued feedback.

THE RED TAPE

In accordance with AS 1851 - 2005 the maintenance of fire systems has implemented a set of guidelines to follow:

Inspect - Test - Preventative Maintenance - Survey

Scopes of work:

  1. A critical defect must be reported immediately, notified within 24 hours and rectified 'with minimum delay'
  2. A non-critical defect must be reported within one week and rectified 'within one month'

CRITICAL OR NON-CRITICAL

What does it mean?

All reporting and testing is completed as per AS 1851 - 2005 and requires non-critical defects to be reported within 7 days and critical defects to be reported within 24 hours.

Critical defects: will be reported and notified to the customer by the technician and then reported to our administrative team. The critical defect will be confirmed, the status actioned, and the appropriate report and quotation will be faxed or e-mailed to the customer within 24 hours.

Non-critical defects: once received by our administrative team the non-critical defect is checked, the status confirmed and the appropriate report and quotation is issued and sent to the customer.

The new requirements of AS 1851 - 2005 was called up by the Building Fire Safety Regulations 1991 and testing requirements became mandatory from July 2006.
